first question is about church unity and so this is something i've been thinking a lot about with um

you know to give background i grew up as a uh conservative baptist and you know i was very like uh

well you know john mccArthur actually just passed away yep um but i was like a very big john mccarthy

fan um intellectual all those things and then um i went to the whole other side after i

just got exposed and i became like a more charismatic and pentecostal um and you know my dad

grew up in the philippines and so he grew up cath Catholic and you know you just see like you know

now I've been exposed to kind of like basically all forms of Christianity. And you know what I can

say is from my own subjective experience I think that all of them have bits and pieces of, you know,

the puzzle. I think that think that, you know,

you get some people who worship in just spirit and then some people who only worship in truth,

then God tells us to worship in spirit and in truth. Um, but I guess do you see a problem

with all these different denominations? Um, Like, what do you think about all of it

at this point? So I think that when we abandon the principle of Sola Scriptura, that the scripture

is the sole infallible rule of faith and practice for the church, we start to struggle with a lot of things.

If we keep the scriptures as the primary rule, you're going to see more fundamental unity

than, I'd say, bad diversity, right? So what I mean by that is, I think what's most important

for us is as Christians, is we major on the major points and the essentials of the gospel

and the things that Scripture is identifying and clear about, we maintain unity around those things.

We guard the purity of the gospel, for example, but we keep the side issues, the Adiofra, the tertiary issues, as things that shouldn't split us apart or divide us in the body.

We should maintain love and unity and care and serve alongside one another,

even with those disagreements. I'll say it this way. I'm a Reform Baptist minister. All my

heroes of the faith are stinking Presbyterians. Yeah. But I'm a Reform Baptist. Does that
