Summary
It’s been a cold winter so far. It’s the time you might bust out your warm winter hat.
Our friends, the Southern Resident Killer Whales, have been doing it too… They’ve been wearing “salmon hats” in Puget Sound lately.
Wild Orca Science and Research Director Deborah Giles told KUOW’s Kim Malcolm all about it.
