Today I'm going to talk about the trunk pops and the cell phone pings and why they're so damning for Anon Syed.

Starting with the cell phone pings, for one, his mentor, Balal, bought him that cell phone the phone the day before Haman Lee was murdered. Obviously, that's very concerning timing and considering

that he's the new suspect. It makes you wonder how much Belal knew beforehand. Because up until

then, Adnan was using Bilal's cell phones.

And then all of a sudden it became necessary for Adnan to have his own cell phone with the billing going to Ba'al.

So why?

And now he has his own, he's in prison under some very,

convicted of some very serious charges.

And the fact that he was Adnan Syed's mentor

should concern everybody.

And the fact that they're now cutting ties and saying, oh, this is the new suspect.

He did it is really laughable because his mentor kept a picture of Adnan in his wallet.

So Abe Warnerwitz, who was the cell phone expert in this trial, testified that had he seen

that fax cover sheet saying that AT&T only verifies the veracity in location on

outgoing calls, not incoming. He said that he would have done more research and he would have asked them

what they, what they meant by that, and he would have done a little bit more investigating.

That is hardly a slam dunk for Team Adnan because when Serial did do some investigating and did ask around about the cell phone reliability, every single cell phone expert said, oh, it doesn't matter incoming or outgoing.

And Chad Fitzgerald, who was the expert for the state in the appeal,

he testified that same thing. It makes no difference. Incoming and
