Summary

When we hear the word disciple, we usually think of those who followed Jesus when He walked the earth. However, all faithful followers of Christ across time and space are His disciples and are called to disciple others. But what makes a true disciple? For, we know that not everyone who calls Jesus Lord will enter the Kingdom of heaven (see Matthew 7:21). In his four-part series Whose Disciple?, Dr. Michael Youssef dives into Scripture to uncover what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus and how true disciples can carry out Christ’s Great Commission.

0:26.5	How can that be a new commandment when the greatest commandment in the Old Testament is that you love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and strength, and you love your neighbor as yourself.

1:12.6	When the world sees the disciples of Jesus, loving one another, by the power of the Holy Spirit,
1:21.6	supernaturally, divinely.
1:24.6	Now you notice that He did not say, the world is going to appreciate you for that love.
1:31.3	He did not say the world will applaud you for your love. He did not say the world is going to
1:36.6	welcome that kind of love or going to welcome you because of that kind of love. He said, no,
1:42.1	the world will know you by that love. That's how they were going to know you.
1:47.6	They may not like you, they may hate you, but at least they will know you, but this kind of love.
1:53.0	Something else I don't want you to miss here before I get to the message. He did not say that this love is going to be easy.
