Well, I got to spend some time today with a friend whose walk through something that no one

really should ever have to endure.

Two years ago, around this time of year, her young adult daughter died of pancreatic cancer.

It was a Friday.

The very next week, also on a Friday, her husband died of

brain cancer. You know, we all know that the enemy fights dirty, and he kicks us when we're down,

but I watched this girl emerge out of the ashes of her pain, discerning the lies that have hurt her

and deciding to believe the truth that will set her free. She's so brave and beautiful, and it just

was amazing to spend time with her as I was

prepping for today's show. The title of today's book is, You Are More Than You've Been Told,

Unlock a Fresh Way to Live through the Rhythms of Jesus by Hosanna Wong. And if you've

listened, you know we've had Jamie Winshup on a number of times talking about the God-given identity imprinted

on our heart.
