In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk,

that deepen your understanding of God's amazing word and that heightens your awareness

of his very real presence in your life. You know, one of the reasons this show was born

a low of those many years ago is because I want so much to help you get ready to meet Jesus.

If you're lost, I want you found. If you're hurting, I want you healed. If you're broken,

I want you restored. I want all of us to be mobilized into the high calling of Jesus

that he has for our lives. You know, I've said this for years, but I believe that many who walk

the earth today maybe know they're saved, but they don't know they're loved. And when we don't know

we're loved as Christians, as Christ followers and children of God, we literally will misuse our time,

treasure, and talents

to prove things Jesus has already proven, and it will show up in the way we do relationships.

You know, my guest today that says that so much of our brokenness comes from our childhood,

the way we grew up, the messages imprinted on our hearts, the lies we picked up when life

let us down. That's why I am so expectant

about today's show. Dr. Ike Miller joins me today to talk about his book, Good Baggage,

how your difficult childhood prepared you for healthy relationships. And one of the things I was

thrilled about when I was reading his bio. Maybe someone told me and I'd forgotten, but Dr.

Ike Miller is married to Dr. Sharon Haudy Miller, who's been on the show.
