Kevin Pelton, when you think of the history of expansion in American sports, what kind of things come to mind?

I mean, I think people think of baseball teams losing like 120 games, the 62 Mets, that sort of thing. But, you know, look, being here in Seattle, I've got like a much more positive outlook

on expansion.

The Cracken made the playoffs in year two.

Yeah.

And I was at the first ever Seattle Sounders game after they started an MLS as an expansion

franchise.
