1:34.9 | I actually wanted to start at the beginning because I feel like a lot of people may know you from some of your more noteworthy shows and films, but I would love to know when did you decide that you wanted to be an actress? |
1:46.9 | I started acting at 3. I think it's something that I was put on this earth to do because I went to my mom at 3 and I was like, I want to be on TV and I want to be a superstar. |
1:58.9 | And I don't think a lot of three-year-olds are saying what they want to do for the rest of their lives. |
2:04.9 | So I really think I was put on the earth not to just act, but to inspire and empower and impact audiences in a way that I did not expect or couldn't imagine, but we're here now. |

2:19.9 | And what have you learned about yourself since getting into the industry? |
2:22.9 | Because obviously you have been doing it since you were at 3 and then you had your breakout role when you were 8. |
2:27.9 | Yeah, I mean, I've learned a lot. |
2:30.9 | So I mean, I think there's things that I've learned about myself as an artist, but also I grew up in front of the camera. |
2:37.9 | So just things that I learned as a person and people change, people evolve, people have different ideas. |
2:43.9 | And I always say I'm just a 19, going on 20-year-old girl that has nothing figured out. |
2:48.9 | Even though people think I have everything figured out, I don't. |
2:51.9 | And I'm okay with that. I think there's beauty and not knowing. |
