Welcome to the Jada Edwards podcast, where I get to take a few moments to share with you what God is sharing with me.

I really love what I call like working ministry people.

And so, you know, you already know my life.

But I love when ministry really

intersects with real life a lot. And so to me, that's the life that most people can relate to.

And most people's calling and purpose and all that stuff is not going to be some curated,

isolated thing where you just have all this time to sit in the

woods and think about what God's doing you. You're usually trying to mix him purpose and calling

and intentionality with life. And life is throwing curveballs and God's telling you to lean in in

different areas. And it's just constant chaos. And so I am excited to have you here on the Jada Edwards podcast. We have Crystal.

Do you still use Evans? Yes, I do. That is my public name for brand recognition purposes.

That is not my legal name because then people reach out and say, well, you know, it's not.

If you had to take your husband's, I took my husband's last name. But now, what happened is we did Kingdom Woman and so that it wouldn't seem like this random woman that wrote a book with Tony Evans. We put Evans in there. And I've just kept that going. But yes, Crystal Evanshurst, we can go with that. CrystalHurz, who, by the way, is completely and fully submitted to her husband,

Jesse Hurs.

In the little name, there is no indication as to her level of surrender as a wife or her obedience as a daughter of the king.

So we are glad to have Crystal Hurs with us us a very, very long time friend of mine.

Many, many years started out really like a big sister for me because I was very close friends

with Priscilla.

And then, you know, eventually that age gap kind of disappears and then become friends.

And so Crystal, I am excited to have you here because, as I was saying, I love that your life to me

is a really beautiful kind of intersection of ministry and life and that I know how I feel

when I go teach or go do something and then walk in the door and there's jam on the shirt
