And now, here's Andrew.

But I've been sharing about who told you that you were naked.

That's a quotation from Genesis 311, where Adam said,

I was afraid I hid myself because I was naked and the Lord said, who told you that you were naked?

He says, have you eaten of the tree?

And so the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is where Adam and Eve got their conscience.

That's how a conscience is defined as the faculty of knowing good and evil concerning

one's own actions. And so the good and

even even

so the conscience was either activated or given to them

through the eating of that tree

and the immediate results of the conscience was that they became self-focused, they realized their nakedness, that produced shame, and it produced fear, and people started running from God. and people have been running from God

ever since because of a conscience. A conscience is what makes you feel unworthy.

It's what makes you feel fear, shame, just about every negative thing, just about

everything that comes a result of sin, your conscience is involved in that condemning process.
