Libby, what is your secret to your outstanding fitness?

My fitness is non-outstanding, absolutely. I have two duff knees and one duff tendon. I try to ride my

bike and I try to keep moving and walk around. But no, I'm older than you and I tell you it

gets worse and worse and worse. I don't want to be pessimistic here, Ed, but your life is going

to be hell in 10 years' time, I tell you. This completely undermines a theme that we will

return to later on, Libya, which is your relentless optimism about the future. But anyway, Patrick...

I said the young should be optimistic about the future. I didn't say anything about broken down old codgers like me having to be optimistic. That's not my job.

And this is why we're getting so ahead of ourselves. This is why old codgers are so pessimistic because they've got dodgy knees and tennis.
