Welcome on to Haldronkid trade season is upon us here, and we have much to discuss,

starting with just the universe of players that we think should be traded.

This is, will certainly include many that their teams are also looking to move,

but maybe also some players that we think teams should move that are not necessarily

players that their teams are looking to move.

But I think the place to start here, John, is just our overall feelings on what the market's

going to be like this year.

We talked about how things were retarded by the health and safety protocols and all of the

issues that teams have had trying to fill in players.

But now it seems like we hopefully have most of that in the rearview mirror now and we're

moving into trade season.

So what are your thoughts on how things are just going to look overall in the trade market this year?

So one of the biggest things that's different in the last couple of is that the play in-tournament has made the in-season trade market worse. I don't think there's any question about that because there are more teams who have something to play for and more teams who can frankly delude themselves into having a parade for themselves at the end of the season if they finish ninth and then luck into the playoffs by winning a play in game against a better team.

So because of that, there are fewer pure sellers than we are used to having, especially in a conference like the East where you have 13 teams,

well, 12 and a half, depending on how you feel about Indiana, at least, that can make a plausible

case that, yeah, we have a good chance of finishing the top 10.

Yeah, I would say Indiana definitely has a plausible case there.

So, yeah, I think another thing that you can look at in addition is a lot of the contenders don't have that many assets.

If you're looking at Brooklyn, L.A., the Lakers, I should say, or other clippers for that matter,

though they're not really in win-out mode as much it would seem.

But the box, there are a lot of teams that are really out assets going forward where they've already made their move.

Denver has done that too, even though they're obviously a little limited with some of their injuries.
