I found this a more difficult exercise than in the past.

In part, I don't know if you experienced this, John.

I felt like I kind of ran out of candidates that I really liked towards the end of these teams.

I certainly did.

I think injuries have had a lot to do with that, too.

Some of the perennials really don't have that strong a case this year.

And so that made things more interesting.

Yeah, I struggled a little bit with the format too, particularly with the positions.

I might have had an easier job if it weren't for the

positional aspects in terms of running out at certain times.

I agree with that.

So I guess before we get started here, you and I have talked about this before, but to make

this a holistic view of All-Stars, what are some of your general philosophies in picking

All-Stars? My general philosophy is that I'm trying to pick the 12 best players in the

conference. And I'm not, I'm trying not to get Sue sucked into this reward for winning

bullshit that all the coaches get off on. And it really, you know, you have to ask

yourself, because most of the worst all-star selections in recent memory are the third best

player on a really good team or the fourth best player sometimes. And you go back and look and

you're like, come on. Like even a year later, you're like, wow, that wasn't, that wasn't good at all.

Wait, wait, you're telling me, you're telling me Julius Randall is not in your All-Star
