Thank you. I'm preaching too much before I preached. Let's get to the message. John chapter 17, verse 15. If you do not have a tangible Bible, we'll have a projected for you

on the screen just so that you can understand the climate this is Jesus praying this is

right before Jesus is betrayed right before Jesus is arrested crucified dies on a cross

before all of that you get to that in John chapter 18 but in John chapter 17 we see the Messiah is

praying to the Heavenly Father.

Before he dies, he's thinking about us.

And there's something that he says in John chapter 17, verse 15, that I want us to consider.

Jesus says, my prayer is not that you take them out of the world, but that you protect them

from the evil one.

Can I get somebody say, Lord, thank you for protecting me from the evil one.

God, you're awesome.

Thank you for this moment.

Thank you for this day.

Thank you for your body.

We're truly many members of one body.

We're asking, oh God, that it'd be undeniable that the Spirit of the Lord was here.

We didn't wake up this morning to get entertained and come to a place to get entertained.
