Well, listen, folks, Sekeir Stama is in hot water because he appointed Peter Mandelson as

UK ambassador to the United States, even though he knew that Mandelson and Jeffrey Epstein,

the disgraced financier, the convicted pedophile, and he remained friends following his conviction.

By the way, there is more to that than meets the eye, because there is a photograph of Mandelson

celebrating Epstein's birthday with candles after his conviction.

And of course, there is the fact that he stayed in Epstein's townhouse as well.

This was all information available to the Prime Minister when he gave him the top job.

Let's take a listen to Starrma, defending his position in the House of Commons.

Before he was appointed ambassador, Mandelson was asked directly about the nature of his relationship with Epstein.

He was asked whether he had stayed at Epstein after his conviction. He was asked whether he had accepted gifts and hospitality about whether he had

been fully transparent about the relationship. He portrayed Epstein as someone he

barely knew and when that became clear and it was not true, I sacked him.

It's funny, he really cuts a forlorn figure, doesn't he?
