on resignation watch. There is absolutely no doubt about it. Labour MPs, of course, have told

Starmer over the weekend this position, despite getting rid of the sacrificial lamb Morgan McSweeney,

the chief of Star. They say, listen, Kear, your position is untenable. Did he sacrifice Sweeney to McSweeney, the chief of staff. They say, listen, Kear, your position is untenable. Did he sacrifice

Sweeney to McSweeney to save his own skin? This is all about, as we know, appointing that rat,

Peter Mandelson, who faces a criminal investigation. You've seen since I was last on,

police raiding his two houses. There's talk about the 55,000 pounds he got for being crap at his job, but being given, they should take back loads of that. But I just want to start, right? Morgan McSweeney, when he resigned, said, in public life, responsibility must be owned when it matters most, not just when it is most convenient in the circumstances.

The only honourable course is to step aside. My question this morning is, if McSweeney had to resign

because he advised Stama to appoint Mandelson, then surely the lame duck prime minister who's

cancelled an address to the nation this morning needs to resign as well.

Genuinely, sources are telling us he's sitting in number 10 quite depressed considering his future.

So let's keep at it.
