Rejection.

We all face it at some time in our lives.

From our early years, when someone doesn't want to play with us in the playground, when we're not picked to join a sports team at school, through job

interviews as an adult. But arguably, the most painful rejection comes from unrequited love. Studies into gender-based and domestic

violence often cite rejection as the catalyst of a devastating tragic incident. And today's case

is no exception. Except this perpetrator didn't stop at taking the precious life of his former partner.

He took her families too.

you know Kyle Marcus Clifford was born on the 5th of April 1988.

He was raised in Enfield, North London, and he was the third of four siblings.

He joined the army when he was 19 years old, and he was described by a fellow soldier

as someone who had a chip on his shoulder,

and he said he was quite immature.

Kyle managed to pass out from training, but only served in the British Army's Queen

Dragoon Guards for just over two years, before dropping out in 2022. After he left the army, he worked for a fire

and security installation company that was based in St Orban's in Hertfordshire. But he left in

23 and took a number of different jobs, including acting as a security guard.
