For a long time, I thought something was wrong with me. There probably is something wrong with me. Well, there's

definitely a lot of things wrong with me. Welcome back to the modern craftsman podcast. So today, Nick and I

wanted to do something that was a little bit different. Over the years, we have had so many of you

join us at different points along this journey. Some of you have been here since the very

beginning. Others may have just recently stumbled upon us. And the truth is, we are not certain

when you hopped on board the modern craftsman train. So we thought it was time to slow down,

take a step back, and give you a little more of our story. Who we are both personally,

professionally, what makes us tick, what drives us, what challenged us along the way,

and even some of the fears and frustrations that we still grapple with today.

Our hope is that by pulling back the curtain, you not only get to know us a little bit better,

but also understand what makes this podcast unique,

why we care so much about these conversations.

At the end of the day, Nick and I are builders, like many of you, figuring it out often as we go.

And sharing that journey is what the modern craftsman has always and will always be about.

So I came up with 10 questions.

Some of them multi-layered.

Some of them straightforward.

But the goal was really to take a deep dive into myself, into Nick. And again, pull back that curtain so you guys can get a better

gist of who we are, not only as business owners as modern craftsmen, to your gym home concepts, and as builders, but who we are as

people. So I have gone through these questions, but I did not craft responses to them because I wanted,

I wanted to be off the cuff. I wanted to, I didn't want to curate my answers as much.

So I may stumble upon my word some. It may not be as smooth as I would want it to be.
