Summary

Jesus is the Son of God, but why do we struggle with belief? It’s so important for us to remember that we are to find our answers in the Word of God – we go no other place. We must begin to know God’s Word for ourselves, so that we can defend the truth contained in it and recognize the false teaching that is rampant in our culture today. We’re going back to the basics, and calling out a false teaching being taught by the Episcopalian church as we speak. We want to pass the truth of God’s Word on to the next generation, and to understand how to do that, we need to know who Jesus is.

0:07.8	And today it's mom strong international Bible study day here at the podcast.
0:12.8	And we're going to be talking about John chapter five.
0:15.7	This is what we've been going through over at mom strong international.
0:18.8	This is what you're doing along with your scripture writing challenge with me.
0:23.3	We're in John chapter five versus 16 to 47.
0:26.2	And we're going to be talking about Jesus being the son of God and answering the question,
0:31.2	why do we struggle with belief?

0:47.8	All right, so I am coming down from a fantastic weekend in Dayton.
0:52.8	We are so thrilled to see what God is doing through the mom strong conference.
0:57.7	And I just wanted to say one of the highlights for me,
1:00.7	well actually it was fantastic because our entire team got to go this last weekend.
1:05.0	But I think one of the highlights for me, and there were three that popped out to me
1:09.8	off the top of my head.
1:10.6	But the main one is the chance that I got to watch a young mother meet Jesus for the first time.
1:18.0	And there is nothing that compares to watching someone have the scales fall off their eyes and
1:24.1	see the Holy Spirit come in and make somebody new.
1:27.2	And God is in the business of healing. He's in the business of restoration.
