Busy Seasons and Weary Souls – God doesn’t clearly tell us in his Word what is too much or too little when it comes to busyness. That’s something we each have to walk out with him. What He does tell us though, is that He wants us to be about HIS business…His agenda. In other words, to be led by the Holy Spirit. Being too busy is only okay if it’s what He wants us to do.
Balance for Busy Moms – So what does this have to do with balance? First, we need to work to please God, not others. Second, and it may not seem obvious at first, but if you read from verse 17 back down to that parallel verse, verse 23, you will see something that stood out to me: I noticed that all of the verses in between 17 and 23 talk about the importance of relationships. Those verses are all about healthy family relationships: wives and husbands are supposed to be in loving relationships with each other; we read that fathers are not to exasperate their children. God’s Word is telling us that good works situations and healthy family situations go hand in hand. This takes prioritizing and balancing. Sometimes, good things rob us of the best things.

0:12.8	it is so much fun to get together with women who want to know the Lord and there's something really
0:18.5	precious particularly about watching women who know that they have influence in the life of a child
0:24.8	saying you know what Lord I realize I can't give my children what we don't have and today on
0:29.6	mailbox Monday I would be talking to a mom who asked if she could remain anonymous who I think
0:35.2	is experiencing what a lot of us have experienced from time to time only this time she's asking about
0:41.4	her husband so today we're going to be talking about the very real issue of burnout and since it's
0:47.3	February we're coming up on to February 14th they're pretty soon I thought you know what this is
0:52.0	a great time to address this topic so stick around I think you're going to be encouraged.
1:04.3	All right so I am coming up on some really cool well some not so cool things too I've got a
1:11.1	a North-A-Donna's appointment with three of my kids tomorrow. I'm going to silence because things
1:16.6	never seem to slow down around here and oftentimes this happens this happens everywhere I go a
1:22.6	people will say how is it that you do all the things that you do how is it that you podcast and
1:28.1	write books and homeschool your children and just do the things that you do and and like I said
1:33.6	in Dayton and I'll say it again there's a grace over my life for what I'm doing the Lord has asked
1:39.1	my husband and I to do this and there's a grace over it but there have been times when we have
1:43.9	stepped outside of that grace and whenever that happens uh struggle is the sure result and so
1:50.4	I'm going to be talking to a mom today who would like to be anonymous so anonymous this is for you
