Mike Reese says the Patriots got their alpha, and that is A.J. Brown. Is there a chance that

Steph Diggs ends up back here? No, I don't think so. You don't think so? I think they, I think

their version of Steph Diggs is Romeo Dobbs, right? And so their version is, all right, we diggs with romeo dobs and we added

a j brown i don't think a j brown is the replacement for digs i think he's the addition

to what they expect this offense to be he's got like, like last year, Diggs wasn't the week in and week out focal point of this

offense.

This year, that will be A.J. Brown.

And I think Romeo Dobbs is going to have an opportunity to really take advantage of seeing

a lot of one-on-one coverage.

I've never interviewed A.J. Brown, I can only go off of what we see from his time most

recently with the Eagles.

Steph Diggs, you hear Mike Reese there talking about how much of a leader he was in that

wide receiver room. Do you think it's going to be any different with A.J. Brown, the dynamic. We don't even know who the odd man out in that receiver room is going to be. I think everyone assumes it's going to be Kishon because he's not working with the team right now. But you got Mack Hollins, who's also a real vet in that room. And then you still have a bunch of young guys with Douglas and Williams and Chisholm.

Yeah, but Douglas is not necessarily a young guy.

And he, like, when I say young, he's not like a first or second year player.

I think now he kind of figures out, knows what his role is.

I think, if anything, to your kind of point, a little bit, Meggo, that wide receiver

room is really heavy on a veteran presence.

You look at Romeo Dobbs, you brought up Matt Collins, who's another veteran, and you add

AJ Brown. Those are going to be the three guys in that room that are going to be pushing

the needle when it comes to the pass and offense. Well, and for those that are complaining about what you paid for A.J. Brown, you're going to get something back when it comes to Kishan Booty, correct? If you're moving him. Yeah, I mean, I think you'll probably get maybe a fifth, sixth round draft pick. I don't think it would be anything spectacular. You think they're definitely moving him? they're even going to trade him or he's going to get cut, right?
