Laundice Santos, it turns out, is recruiting for his own Florida army.

What could possibly go wrong?

Florida is not unique in this. There are a couple of other states that did this back in the 1940s,

which is where the National Guard of the whole bunch of states, Florida included,

ended up being shipped over to Europe to fight the Nazis.

And in some states where the National Guard did more than just be the backup for the military

in case we got in a World War, states like Florida, the regular that have hurricanes and natural

disasters, the National Guard was sort of a disaster relief agency.

And when that National Guard in Florida went off to Europe, the Florida legislature got together

and started an organization that they called the Florida State Guard, the FSG or FLSG.

And this was basically to deal with hurricanes and natural disasters that happened in that period

from 1941 to 1945. And then it was dissolved in 1945 or 1946 after the end of World War II because

it was no longer needed. But the law is still on the books authorizing.

And so Rhonda Santos is now running ads saying he's looking for people who have a military
