Morning.

My name is R.C., and there was a time in my life when I wanted nothing to do with God and lived

completely for myself.

I put my hope in my own performance, and even though my life may have looked pretty good

from the outside, I was utterly hopeless, and I felt like my life had no purpose.

But I experienced the love of God, and I started following King Jesus. And because of God, I now have an eternal hope

and I have a purpose for my life that's aligned with God's purposes and not my own.

There are so many in our community who are far from God, and we have the opportunity to share

the hope that we have, to invite people into God's family, and to make disciples as Jesus

has commanded us. My family and I have got to experience these things through outreach training

here at the village church where followers of Jesus are equipped to share the gospel to make disciples.

We've seen God at work in so many ways through outreach training. One story that I remember is of a man who showed up

and he had been a follower of Jesus for a very long time,

but he said that he never knew how to share his faith.

And he had a burden for the people that he worked with.

He really just wanted them to experience the love of God

and experience God in the way that he had and have that joy. And so by joining outreach

training, being part of a team through prayers, he was able to learn the strategies to effectively

share the gospel with his colleagues and to start making disciples. If you have a similar burden for the people that you know
