Hello my friends welcome back to the morning mindset.

Man I hope you've been enduring these last three or four episodes because this is a very

difficult topic to get under our belts.

It's a very difficult thing to comprehend, to understand how the seeming freedom we have to make decisions

and choices that affect our eternal destiny, fits into the

fact, as Paul presents it here, that even though we make choices.

God has supreme veto power over those choices,

even to the extent that he can harden some people

against making a choice to have faith in him.

That's the example he gives us through Pharaoh,

who he brings out of the Old Testament

to use as an example.

Friends, this is a very important topic.

And Paul really gets to the heart of it today in Romans 9, 19 through 21.

And when I say he gets the heart of it I mean he gets to the heart of it as it relates to our

resistance to this idea.

He brings it back to the fundamental reality

that I think needs to undergird our Christian walk.

And that is that God is God we are his creatures.

That is the reality of our relationship and in that sort of a relationship, he is the supreme authority. He is the supreme decision

maker. Everything he does dictates what will happen to us. There's no getting around that. Let's read it in

Romans 9, 19 through 21. He says after he's just explained that God hardens
