Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. How are you today?

Seriously, how are you today? I hope that have content today to look into in the scriptures that will help us

to do even better I believe because we no matter who we are are recipients of the

amazing grace of God and it's that grace of God and an understanding of it that can help us to do well no matter our circumstance and I really mean that

that's not a trite religious phrase seeing things from an eternal perspective or

as I'm fond of saying, getting our mind aligned

with the truth of God is what helps us to live in this world as the joyful, incredibly

blessed people that we really are.

Now today is a pivotal moment for us in our study in the Book of Romans,

because we are entering Romans chapter 6,

and it is at Romans chapter 6.

And it is at Romans chapter 6

that I believe Paul's argument that he's been making

began all the way back in chapter 1 obviously he's making this argument about why

God's grace and forgiveness are needed and how they came about his argument

becomes especially powerful at this point. I believe Romans six, seven

and eight are some of my favorite verses, chapters in all of scripture because of the truths that they present.

So I want us to stop for a moment and just prepare ourselves for quite a rocket ride.

There's a whole lot of topics that Paul focuses on,

but also a new sort of concept that he puts in our path

for us to consider.

And that is the concept of identity. Now Paul has already
