I had friends who were convinced he is a card-carrying racist.

That's what they believed.

But when you heard those allegations and accusations about his record on race, what did you make of that?

I couldn't square it with reality.

But I remembered vividly those images of Donald Trump standing with figures like Reverend Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson being given awards for his service in the African American community.

So the fact that individuals were still able to pull the wool over others' eyes and claim that Trump was a racist person, I can literally personally confirm that nothing could be further from the truth.

But that goes to show the extent to which the mainstream media has a stranglehold on the minds of far too many individuals in this country.
