All right, today is Monday, September the 15th, 2025, and we got a lot to figure out, as I say, every single day on my show, which is a day ending in Y. And one of the reasons we have a lot to figure out is because the news feels like it's all over the place today. So as is our usual, we're going to do everything that we can to bring it all together in a way that actually makes sense. First things first, while we are

going to talk about the continuing followout from the Charlie Kirk murder and the way it is

reverberating all throughout MAGA, I want to start here. I'm going to personally, just as a

personal favor, I'm going to need white media outlets and commentators to just, if you cannot report on the facts, I'm going to need you to

keep Lisa Cook's name out your mouth. I'm going to need you to keep Lisa Cook's name out your mouth.

Lisa Cook, as you all may recall, Black woman, phenomenal, black woman, well accomplished black woman,

did all the things, black woman, was a significant figure in all the spaces where you needed

to be a significant figure when it the spaces where you needed to be a

significant figure when it came to the economy before people were realizing that black women

were as brilliant as we were like an amazing accomplished woman who has done a lot and I'm not

going to bore you with her bio right now Google her Google her but she is one of the Federal

Reserve governors who is currently in the crosshairs of Donald Trump.

Now, you may recall Donald Trump is very angry at the Federal Reserve because they will not cut interest rates as quickly as he wants or as steeply as he wants.

And he has made it his personal mission to come after Jerome Powell, which I know sounds like a very black name to all of us.

But trust me, Jerome Powell is not a

black man. He is very much a white man, but he is giving Donald Trump the funk as if, you know,

there was some other sort of differences between the two of them. Basically, Jerome Powell cannot be

fired. He is the head of the Federal Reserve. Donald Trump really hates this. And so Donald Trump

is technically attempting to fire Lisa Cook, who I guess, you know, if you can't get the white man on top, go for the easier target, which is the black woman, who is a member of the Federal Reserve, but she is not in the same position as a Jerome Powell. Now, technically, the only reason that Lisa Cook could be fired, in fact, the only reason that any of the Federal Reserve governors could be fired would be for cause, for something that they did related to their job. That ain't even an allegation. Donald Trump has Lisa Cook in his crosshairs because he is basically saying that she committed mortgage fraud on her documentation, bank fraud in her documentation when she got a second home. Now, I'm just going to pause and remind you all that this is the same commentary and the same sort of argument that they raised against Maryland State's attorney Marilyn Mosby and New York State Attorney General Letitia James. It seems as though when black women get into positions of power and Donald Trump doesn't really have anything that he can use to go after them, he tries to go after weird things, seemingly things that have nothing to do with who they are or their job, like their mortgage documents.
