Government shutdown is two weeks old today.

It's been a long two weeks and a strange two weeks.

It's a very odd shutdown with

nobody in town. But here's some news. The White House is girding for a long shutdown. It has found

several new funding streams for critical programs. That is according to Trump administration

officials at the White House and OMB. OMB is working on ways to get paychecks to federal law enforcement officers.

This is similar to what Trump ordered over the weekend for 1.3 million active duty

military members.

And the administration will ensure that WIC, which is the special supplemental nutritional

program for women, infants, and children can continue to operate for

the next several weeks. The administration says it will use hundreds of millions of dollars in
