The Jeffrey Epstein files, Donald's disastrous trade war, the horrific situation in Gaza, the potential tsunami.

These are the issues Americans are desperate to hear about and have addressed from the White House.

So when press secretary of Caroline Levitt took the podium today, it would be perfectly reasonable to expect some information

about these issues, or at least some coherent updates. Instead, she spent most of the briefing

sidestepping the hard questions, only addressing major issues after reporters forced the topic.

Finally, and in between, what we got were announcements about remodeling?

I do have one other announcement from the White House and from the President.

We are proud to announce that the construction of the new White House ballroom will begin.

For 150 years, presidents, administrations,

and White House staff have longed for a large event space on the White House complex that can

hold substantially more guests than currently allowed. President Trump has expressed his commitment

to solving this problem on behalf of future administrations and the American people.

The White House State Ballroom will be a much-needed and exquisite addition of approximately

90,000 total square feet of innately designed and carefully crafted space with a succeeded capacity

of 650 people. The project will begin in September 2025, and it is expected to be

completed long before the end of President Trump's term. President Trump and other donors

have generously committed to donating the funds necessary to build this approximately $200 million

structure. I was going to try to say something funny,

but I can't. This is just so deeply grotesque. And let's be clear, those funds have been stolen

from us by these people. So to characterize it as a generous donation is a bridge too far.
