I am Rebecca Bloom. I am a licensed mental health counselor. I have a private practice in South Seattle.

go outside as much as you possibly can.

Yeah. Anonymous patron, she writes, can you talk about white

silence and white people's general lack of interest in black issues in the

United States? I'm asking because I think we need more non-Black

individuals advocating and educating people about the stigma and

systematic racism in our country. Can you give your insight and experience into being an ally? What are some things you think

white folks can do better? Rebecca, when I got this email I thought of you and I saved it for you,

what would you say to that what's your

experience and about being an ally and what can we do to educate people and

reduce stigma and reduce racism?
