And we also have the man of the hour, Ralph Nader.

We have another jam-packed show today.

Up first on the program, we have two guests, Dr. Ranya Milleron who is a microbiologist and a public health advocate and Dr. Nicholas Sacalleru who is a professor who lectures on engineering ethics. They have combined to produce a book entitled

ethics, politics, and whistleblowing in engineering and I'm going to tell you why that's

so important in a minute, which is just the first half of the show, by the way.

In the second half of the show, we're going to welcome back Karen Friedman of the Pension

Rights Center.

The Pension Rights Center is a nonprofit consumer organization committed to protecting and promoting the

retirement security of American workers, retirees, and their families.

And just this week a government report came out with dire predictions about the solvency of Social Security.

And I hope Ms Friedman will fill us in when all that really means.

And she'll also give us an update on something we talked about when she last visited,

the corporate attempt to cut benefits for defined benefit pension plans.
