Well, I was active in the first Earth Day, April 22, 1970. I did three events from Philadelphia to Buffalo, but there were 1500 events at

colleges and universities. It was launched by Senator Gayler-Nelson, Democrat Wisconsin, who responded to a suggestion by a citizen in Colorado.
