Now, this is a little bit of a brand revival, plus it has investments and a little bit of a celebrity focus because Coach Stoops, the head football coach of the University of Kentucky, is involved with this.

But it is a brand revival of a group investors that is coming out of Lexington.

They're using the name of William Tar.

Now, William Tar does have a name in Bourbon History, and he actually ran the distillery of

Ashland Distillery he was bottling up a brand called old tar back in the day and it

all went under during Prohibition back in 187 or should I say he was doing this all

back in 1871 but all this went to the wayside when Prohibition hit.

So this is another brand revival using a name of just somebody that was in the business.

But this is a blend of 8-year-old rye and 7-year-old bourbon.

The rye is a 37% corn, 51% rye and 12% malted barley. The seven-year-old bourbon is 75% corn, 13%

rye, and 12% malted barley. It is age-dated to seven years. It is 114 proof and retails for

$80. So this is a blend of rye and bourbon? It is. And It is. And if we look at the label here, if you can...

If you look past the awesome beard, it does say Kentucky straight whiskey.
