Welcome back to another whiskey quickie, and today we're looking at Heaven Hill's 85th

anniversary release. So, happy birthday, Heaven Hill. Yeah, cheers. So this is a 13-year-old single

barrel that was made from their traditional mash bill of 78% cord, sorry, 12% melted barley,

and 10% rye, which for 13 years, I'm already looking

at the color, and I'm amazed by how dark this is. Now, this is a, it says it's a single barrel

offering. Now, I don't really know if there's literally like one barrel for this whole entire

thing, because they didn't say how many bottles were going out, or if it's like multiple single barrels. But this barrel was actually filled on December 13th, 2006,

and then dumped on December 13th, 2019. And then all kind of goes back into Heaven Hills history

of the day that they were found in. Actually, when they filled their first barrel. This was aged

on the second floor of Warehouse G and is also cut to

107 proof to reflect the original entry proof of Heaven Hill back then. It comes in a pretty

sweet display case and has an SRP of $300. All right. This is usually like the perfect age for Heaven Hill too. Like 13, like just right

415. Yeah. Yeah, that would obviously be 415. Yeah. All you're interested to kind of see how

this stacks up against like Elijah Craig barrel proof because that is a, you know, 130-ish offering
