| 0:00.0 | Welcome everyone to the score fantasy football podcast. |
| 0:18.0 | I'm your host, Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at The Score. Glad to have you riding along with us today. I'm coming at you one day later than I'd hope to get this episode out. But those 2024 redraft rankings, they took me a lot longer than expected. I mean, I should probably expect it by now, though, because that first update after the draft, it's always a massive one. The good news is I've updated the dynasty rookie rankings. |
| 0:39.9 | I've updated the dynasty trade value charts. |
| 0:41.8 | Those are the ones with the veterans and the future picks and all that sort of stuff. |
| 0:45.2 | And I have updated those redraft rankings now so you can use those to start getting ready for your leagues or as a starting point if you're doing best ball. |
| 0:53.1 | On top of that, on Tuesday, I went over how to approach the first two rounds of your dynasty rookie drafts i broke it all down into tears and let you know what i'm thinking about those guys and that brings us to today where i'm going to go through my favorite rookies to target in the later rounds and i'm going to lean towards the later rounds of dynasty rookie drafts but a lot of these guys are going to be players that you're going to want to scoop up and throw at the end of your redraft benches as well. And we're focusing on players outside of my top 24 rookies. So guys who should be available in rounds three or later in your rookie drafts. And I do want to start with a few names that I've seen slip into the third rounds in some rookie drafts that I've been in but they're players who I talked |
| 1:30.8 | about on Tuesday as second round value so I'm not going to spend much time on them |
| 1:34.3 | but Marshawn Lloyd Blake Corrum 80 Mitchell Jalen Polk Jermaine Burton at |
| 1:41.3 | Jalen Wright would be another one I'm not going to go over them in depth here. Just know that if they're available at the top of the third round, you are immediately drafting them. And yes, Wright was a day three running back. I'm going to talk about day three running backs in a second, but the Dolphins traded a 2025 third round pick to get right. So that gives them a little added juice on top of just being in Miami's backfield, which we know can produce big time fantasy numbers. All right. Those guys aren't going to count towards the players in the title. I just wanted to mention them in case they do fall on your drafts. So now we can look at guys that I'm targeting in rounds three to round six if your rookie draft goes that far. If not, then you're going to be looking at them as guys that you might want to pick up off the waiver wire post draft. And we'll start with my third round values. These are guys that have pretty clear paths to producing, maybe even this season. And the first is Ben Sinnett on an obvious one. Some people might even view him as a second round value in rookie drafts. I'm happy to take him in the third where he normally goes. |
| 2:36.0 | He got excellent draft capital in round two. |
| 2:38.0 | He lands in Cliff Kingsbury's offense and that's been very tight end friendly in the past going back to Arizona. |
| 2:44.0 | And Senate, he just needs to beat out a 33-year-old Zach Ertz who turns 34 in November. |
| 2:49.0 | And Ertz hasn't really done much the last two years. |
| 2:52.1 | He's dealt with injuries and just general decline. |
| 2:54.5 | So Cynette could win that job in camp, but at worst, I think he overtakes Ertz during the year. |
| 2:59.9 | And with Johan Dotson, he's really been failing to live up to the expectations, at least last season. |
| 3:04.7 | And Luke McCaffrey, who they drafted this year in the third third round more of a third wide out or a depth piece in my opinion |
| 3:11.3 | So Cynic could turn into the second option in that passing game. I really like him a lot |
| 3:16.3 | Javon Baker the receiver he goes to the Patriots and you have to love the way that he's taken it personal that he went on day three |
| 3:22.8 | He goes in round four hundred and tenth overall I think he was the 18th receiver taken but outright he says after that |
| 3:30.0 | that there is no way that there are 10 rookie receivers better than me and that might be true |
| 3:34.6 | I was a big fan of him in the pre-draft process I had them ranked as a late second round |
