So on this podcast, we usually try and start with just taking us through your path a little bit to where you are now. Your time for

an LSU tiger to where you are now. Give us an overview. Well, I left LSU, spring 99. I got drafted

to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and so after I got my degree moved to

Tampa played seven years in Tampa got traded the Indy played two years in Indy and then after that

kind of took a three or four years to kind of start a family get married start having kids and

then in 2014 got into television start doing TV and local radio

and just kind of broadened from there and been working at ESP and ever ever since 2014

and so still live in Tampa still there sunshine and no state taxes shout out but that's

where I'm at and enjoyed and enjoying life there.

So how is that transition from playing to starting kind of over maybe in your career

and starting from broadcasting from the ground up?

That's the toughest part about it.

It's kind of funny you mention it.

I tell people all the time, you know, it's kind of the gift and the curse. It's the gift where you get a chance to play

professional sports. But kind of the curse of it is you have to, when you do retire, whenever that is, you know, 28, 30, 35, if you last long enough, you then have to figure out what you're going to do the rest of your life. And usually you're starting over at whatever it is. And the people you graduated

college with, they've been in their

profession. They've made their mistakes. They've moved on. And so you're starting at rock bottom.
