Welcome in, Tiger fans. It's great to be back. It's another edition of hearing voices where we get to talk with, learn with, and just all around enjoy a conversation with the voices that bring college sports alive.

This one you're going to recognize, this one you're going to know, but kind of been trying to get him in here for a long, long time.

He's a very busy man, though, but we've been able to finally corral former Tiger, former Tiger champ, or he, as he likes me to say, Tiger Champion, period.

Doug, it's great to have you in here.

Great to hang out.

Man, we are right here in the heat of the baseball season, which I know is the part of the year.

You love and have love since you were a little boy. And it's, you know, we say it every year because this is, believe it or not. The eighth year you and I have worked together calling LSU baseball, which A, doesn't seem like eight years. Seems like yesterday we were starting for the Cincinnati game. But secondly, here we are, I mean, closing in on three quarters of the way through, already well past the halfway point of this season. And, you know, I was told a long time ago that as you get older, things move faster. I think they were right. They're right. I couldn't. Every year, it's crazy how quick the season gets here. It's crazy how, whoa, we're already to the SEC.

This year has absolutely blown by.

Can't believe we're, you know, like you said,

about halfway three quarters of the way through.

But wow, what a great year it's been so far, huh?
