One way to see past the illusion is to look while hearing silence instead of looking while hearing thinking.

I told you it was 2013. It felt like before I saw the sky for the first time without the overlay of thought.

The sky in that moment was so vivid and so perfect, so gorgeous.

I was like I was seeing it for the first time because I was seeing it without Nikki.

I was seeing it without the thoughts about past, future, the judgments about the moment looking without thoughts.

I was seeing it without thoughts. I was looking while giving more attention to the silence.

The way you look at a butterfly, I was on the dot the other day and a butterfly.

I did not know it was a butterfly. The moment a big bug was flying for me.

I remember my gut reaction to recoil, I pulled back and of course as soon as I saw it was a gorgeous monar, an orange butterfly.

The oiling stopped and I leaned in and watched it, bluttering around near me and then out over the ocean.

That silent watching something beautiful, the butterfly, the sun rise, the sunset, a newborn baby.

You're aware of the looking in silence.

I'm a said spiritual realization is to look through the third eye while keeping your other two eyes wide open to the world.

If you're able to right now, I want you to close your two eyes and notice that there is something that is still seeing.

Even though the eyes are closed, there's something that is seeing that the eyes are closed.

And now open your eyes again.

And the seeing is there but there's something that sees the seeing, there's something that knows the seeing.
