0:07.7	It's interesting because it all plays to the title of on your Hayes House book, Ghosts Are People Too.
0:13.4	And that's, that actually has been one of, I think, the principles that I've been talking about more frequently, I think, in the last year or so on the programs,
0:21.4	is that just kind of being the realization that many are having that so many attach, you know,
0:29.2	it's easy to say supernatural, we're talking about ghosts, but almost attach supernatural abilities
0:34.9	onto the supernatural, where there may not necessarily be superpowers,
0:40.6	I guess is what I'm trying to say, that some of us assume you get when you die, that maybe
0:45.2	there are some things that you certainly couldn't do dimensionally and you couldn't do
0:49.8	physically as a living person, but your interests, your personality, your thought process, the things
0:55.3	you care about, the things you love, the things you hate, all that's still there. It's just
0:59.6	the vehicle in which that expression is delivered has changed a bit. Let's talk more about
1:06.9	the Hayes House. What drew you to it initially?
1:11.6	Well, at the Hayes House, I found out later on there were at least four major ghosts there.
1:18.6	Pat and Kathleen, which are husband and wife, and they purchased the Hayes House in
1:24.6	1942, and there was Pat's mother, Annie, and Pat's Aunt Sunshine.
1:31.4	And I feel that they had a lot to do with me being interested in the Hayes House.
1:36.9	I think they more or less kind of like waved at me and said, hey, come on in and check this out.
1:43.3	You'll like it.
1:44.0	It's original.
1:45.1	I think they realized that I wanted a place. If I was going to write my first book,
1:50.6	I wanted something that was as close to 100% original as possible,
1:55.8	but had ghosts that cared about the place. And I think they kind of reached out in their own way and got me interested in it.
