Newly unsealed court documents in Lily and Jack Sullivan's missing persons case

are raising questions about the relationship between the children's mother, Malaya Brooks Murray,

and stepfather Daniel Martel. Brooks Murray said Martel would try to block her, hold her down.

She said he would also take her phone from her when she tried to call her mom,

which would sometimes be physical and hurt.

Those allegations are false.

As I said, it was just to paint me in a bad light.

That's basically why there's all of those allegations of abuse came out. I never have physically abused Malaya.

It's now been over eight months since four-year-old Jack and his six-year-old sister, Lily Sullivan, were reported missing from their home in rural Nova Scotia.

Since then, the cases twisted and turned in nearly every direction, yet to this point,

none have led back to the missing siblings. But it seems with each update, we're inching closer.
