| 0:00.0 | Are you feeling a little discouraged about a lack of progress? |
| 0:10.5 | Welcome to Walking as Fitness. This is a podcast of action, providing a little extra motivation |
| 0:16.3 | to help you keep that fitness promise you made to yourself. Hi, I'm Dave. |
| 0:27.4 | I began walking for fitness in 2013 and still take an intentional fitness walk every single day. |
| 0:31.6 | I'm walking right now and I would love to have you join me for the next 10 minutes. |
| 0:43.3 | So for more than a year on Monday mornings, very early on Monday mornings, I would ask my friend Steve the same question. |

| 1:32.3 | And it went something like this. |
| 1:35.3 | Well, that's all I had to ask. |
| 1:41.3 | Well, and Steve would tell me, down two pounds. |
| 1:46.8 | I gained a pound. |
| 1:48.7 | Held steady, no change. |
| 1:52.2 | And the thing that really blew me away about Steve, those weeks where the progress seemed non-existent, his attitude was never one of discouragement. |
| 2:07.5 | And I think we're at a point for a lot of folks who began a new fitness journey on January 1st. |
| 2:12.9 | Maybe the fitness journey involves weight loss, maybe it involves other areas that need a change. |
