Hey, everyone. Welcome back to Heal, Survive, and Thrive. We have a lot to tackle in this week's

episode because I don't honestly think in how long have I had the podcast, maybe like 10 years,

I don't think I've ever really talked about this. And I don't even know if I've talked about

my own personal experience regarding it.

So let's dive into this because it's a real thing.

And I want to talk about after you go through a divorce or a breakup and you're dealing with

heartbreak or maybe not even heartbreak, maybe you ended the relationship.

And the sense of loss that you kind of

go through when you lose your, like your village, right? So we're talking about your in-laws,

your exes family, maybe friends, maybe shared friends, maybe people are picking sides. You've just lost a lot of people.

And you know, you don't really think about that.

I don't think a lot of us put an emphasis on just how much we lose when a relationship ends.

Maybe some of the losses, you're like, hooray, I'm so glad that I never have to see my mother-in-law again or my boyfriend's sister. But there are a lot of us that

we lose a lot of people, like a significant, it's a significant hit to our lives. It's not just

this relationship ending. Like it's your whole world changes because your day to day is so very different.

Aside from just this person leaving and now you're having to redesign your life, there's

relationships.

Obviously, I think I'm mostly talking to the people that had decent relationships with

either their in-laws or their sister know, their sister-in-laws or

brother-in-laws or whatever. Like you, even friends, like you had a group. You had some

consistency in your life. You had people that you could go to. You had people that were there

for you, whether it was surface level or not. and now, like, all of that's gone.
