I called you, texted you, and said I wanted to talk to you about important things during

this time of year.

Almost here at Christmas, a lot of people are getting ready to celebrate, but other people

are struggling now during this time of year, and we've had a recent tragedy where someone who

was part of the Mosaic community, Steve in Twitch Boss, he recently passed away, gave up his life,

and something that is really troubling to so many people. We've also dealt with other people

who have committed suicide. We both know people that have, and it's just something that we see

more prevalent today. So as someone who is a leader, someone who is also a pastor, someone who

leads a community who knows this very well, when you see something like this, what do you think

about? How can we make sense of it? And how do we move through it?

Yeah, John, this is never a conversation you want to have. And yeah, it seems like it's a conversation

that needs to be had. I've seen this too many times. I've lost too many friends over the years, and

yet Twitch, as he was owned by his friends, he was in our home. He was at our Christmas party

with his wife Allison. They were part of our community, really beautiful people, great,

wonderful kids. And everyone who's around him, I mean, that recurring narrative is,
