Oh, sometimes it's easy as a mom or a dad to think, why won't my child change?

But in those moments, perhaps more humble route is to say, let begin with me why am I so wrapped up about

this why can't I let go of this I'm John Fuller along with our vice president of

parenting Danny Werta and Danny parenting.

I was telling somebody if you don't want to change in life,

don't have kids because you'll probably just stay the same.

If you have children, you're going to be forced to change and somehow I've learned over the years I have to look in the mirror for a lot of my parenting problems

Why is that? Yeah, no, that's so true. You have to you have to look deep inside I usually ask the

question what does it like to be with me you know what is it like to to talk with me

to to be listened to by I'm glad you asked and let me know. That's great John and I appreciate maybe that right now. I enjoy hanging out with you. You know it's interesting. It's really led me to trust God more because I've noticed I have two souls that I'm in charge of speaking

life into.

These are your two children and you're supposed to be coaching and stewarding that. And I'm coaching loving them I mean I get to have this wonderful

relationship with these two kids that have their own opinions their own

thoughts there's a lot that I don't control, but I can influence

and I need God's direction along the way.

And a good question is how am I doing in communicating what I need to communicate?

How is it being received?

Am I am I spending good quality time with my kids?

Are we just recycling days? Are we are we intentionally going

in a direction or are we just kind of wandering somewhere and we hope we land

somewhere and and am I being patient? Am I being attentive and attuned, or am I juicing out all my attentiveness

and my listening with other families and outside of my own home and not coming in with what I need to do to God and my kids.
