No matter how much work we do on ourselves or how much self-help we consume or how enlightened we seek to become,

we will always have ungrateful moments.

As human beings, we have what's called Hedonic adaptation which means that we get used to

granted our health, we take for granted our family, our friends, our opportunities,

all the blessings that we have because it's our normal, right?

It's our day to day. We can't just go through life feeling wonderful and grateful all the time.

It's not possible. But my friends, in moments where I don't feel appreciation where I feel like mmm I don't feel good or life isn't working out or I'm I'm a bit annoyed or I just feel like oh and it's for more than maybe half a day or a

day or a couple of days I have to remind myself of this truth and it just kind of like smacks me in the face a little bit just like I really

really need it to and it's this okay if you're feeling a bit ungrateful and you know your life is good on a conscious level but for whatever reason you just don't feel satisfied

maybe you feel disgruntled maybe you feel a bit bored maybe you feel a bit disconnected
