When someone else gets something that you want to be to or have, do you ever feel like maybe that little wave of envy or that trigger that you experience is telling you, it's your

proof you're doing something wrong. Let's talk about this today, right? Whenever you envy,

whatever someone else has allowed into their life. Now, I'm not here to just say, look,

envy's a mirror. Let that inspire you. Just flip the script. No. There are other things that we can do.

I think other things that we can be curious about that are going to be more helpful.

So whenever someone gets something that you want, whatever it is, maybe it's a

this epic six-week Europe trip, whatever it is, sometimes our ego likes to pretend that we're above it. We pretend that we don't want

it. We pretend, oh, whatever, that's stupid. I don't need it. La la la, la, la, la. Okay, I get it. We're all

human. This happens to all of us at one time or another. What if instead of pretending we're above something or

pretending something silly, we simply identify, yeah, I'm feeling a certain way about this. It's

creating an emotion within me. I want to be curious about that. And then we take that emotion

and instead of pushing it aside, to squash it or, you know,

maybe having this thought run through our mind of how did that happen for him? Or, you know,

what does she do to get that? I know the mind can go a million miles a minute. What if we were just

honest with ourselves for a moment and we ask ourselves, wait, do I really want that thing?

Do I want that relationship? Do I want that opportunity? Do I want that exact vacation?
