0:13.0	As a pastor I have to talk to lots of people who are wondering
0:18.0	whether they are reaching a necessary ending in their life.
0:21.0	It might be a relationship. I work with a lot of people in their
0:24.8	20s and they're saying, should I keep dating this person? Or it might be at work.
0:28.0	It'll be an employer trying to figure out, is it time for me to let go this employee?
0:32.1	It might be a parent trying to figure out how to deal
0:35.2	with a child who is in a set of ongoing destructive patterns. I don't care who you are.
0:41.5	Endings are actually a ordinary part of life, but figuring out how to navigate them,
0:47.0	when's the time to make an ending, how to not make an ending, and instead help someone go a different direction.
0:52.8	These are really challenging questions that we all have to face.
0:56.2	It's interesting, Patrick, because I end up talking to a lot of people who I wish they would
1:00.3	get to the point where they're saying, do I need to make a necessary ending.
1:04.0	These are people who are stuck in a cycle in relationships all the one you
1:09.2	mentioned, family, friends, work, a whole gamut of relationships and they probably need to think
1:15.2	through an ending and ask themselves should this relationship end or should I
1:21.3	continue with it but they don't want to ever think about endings.
1:25.0	To end is to fail.
1:27.0	To end is to let other people down.
1:29.0	And so I think today we can kind of help people get over that and see like you said the
