Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

And let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. We are in this time between

the ascension and Pentecost and so let's beg the Holy Spirit for an increase of his sevenfold gifts so that we can do the

will of God and reach the happiness we long for.

I continue to offer this Rosary for the healing of Olivia Canelian, the strengthening of her family, for the strengthening of Jeannie Sherman, and for Chris Hoag, who had an accident, and broke his jaw.

We're praying for his successful surgery and quick recovery.

Our first meditation, as we've been discussing prudence is the art of making the right decisions

and it involves three steps to deliberate, meaning to gather all the information and then separate what's relevant from what's irrelevant,

and then make a judgment or a decision to choose a course of action, and then take action, follow through to completion.

But there are pitfalls that we can fall into when it comes to prudence,

and so today we meditate on some further advice on prudence.

First of all, put your hand to the plow and don't look back.

It's unwise to rethink a choice when you're in the process of carrying it out.

Think about it before you begin, and then just do it. Don't look back.

Take your time in consideration, but once you've reached a judgment, act quickly and decisively

and refuse God nothing.
