She's a New York Times bestseller and I came across one of her videos and she said every day,

wake up and know that, and I'm paraphrasing, whatever you're going to experience today, it's never going to happen in the way that it happened today.

So like, yes, you'll see another sunset for many years, and yes you may play with your daughter, and yes, you may work out or ride your motorcycle or eat a donut.

But never in the way that it's going to happen today, right?

So, I think that's really interesting.

I don't know about you, but that helps me because for me that mindset makes me want to

cherish moments instead of thinking about

thinking about all the things I don't have or where I need to be or what I need to get done,

which most of us, including myself,

obsessed about throughout the day, right?

We're just running, we're musuzzled greyhounds, running around,

chasing that carrot. What are they put in front of the greyhound's face? I don't remember,

but a little stuffed animal usually. And we're just sprinting as fast as we can

through the day to get you done without considering that there will not be a day like today.

And yes, you know, you're going to have bad days, today may be one of them.
