0:18.0	But I just wanted to mention that I've been reading boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend and I really like it.
0:27.0	They do mention that spanking is okay, which I totally disagree with, And their interpretation of Luke 18, I think, is off.

0:45.0	But there was one part that really helped me and it's on page 140 and it's titled,
0:51.0	Forgive the Aggresser.
0:53.0	It says nothing clarifies boundaries more than forgiveness.
0:56.0	To forgive someone means to let him off the hook,
0:59.0	or to cancel the debt he owes you.
1:01.0	When you refuse to forgive someone, you still want something from that person.
1:05.3	It keeps you tied to him forever. Refusing to forgive a family member is one of the main reasons
1:11.1	people are stuck for years years unable to separate from their
1:14.0	dysfunctional families.
1:16.3	They still want something from them.
1:18.2	It is much better to receive grace from God who has something to give and to forgive those
1:22.4	who have no money to pay their debt with.
